Common Cents (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control your information.
We do not sell personal information. We only use processors to operate the service and for security/analytics.
Information We Collect
- Account data: name, email, subscription status (via Whop).
- Billing data: handled by Whop/Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
- Product usage: pages visited, features used, device/rough location metadata for reliability and UX.
- Community identifiers: e.g., Discord username to grant roles and entitlements.
- Support content: messages you send to us (bug reports, requests) and related metadata.
How We Use Data
- Provide the service: dashboards, indicators access, and community roles.
- Security & abuse prevention: verify entitlements, detect fraud/abuse, rate-limit, and protect accounts.
- Improve product: analyze usage to fix issues and prioritize features.
- Communications: receipts, billing, security, status updates; with consent, educational tips or product news.
- Legal compliance: tax/accounting and responding to lawful requests.
Data Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and audit requirements, or resolve disputes.
